Policies for Action Research Hub

The Study

Picture
The Policies for Action Research Hub at Vanderbilt aims to understand the challenges faced by at-risk children in Tennessee, with particular focus on examining children of immigrants, students with adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), and children diagnosed with neonatal abstinence syndrome (NAS) or who have been exposed to opioid usage. This study combines longitudinal, statewide health and education data files to examine these students health and educational outcomes over time. This hub is also conducting qualitative interviews with professionals serving at-risk communities across the state to further examine barriers faced by vulnerable students.
